she cooks a mushie burger

i tried the mushroom burger at grill'd the other day, and it was heavenly! i tried making it at home again the other day, and it was so darn good - i made it for another friend - who said it could be her second favourite food ever! (or something like that, i could have made it slightly more narcissistic)

so here's how you do it. it's super easy, i promise.

1. slice 1/2 an onion, and a tomato, and cut some mushrooms in half.
2. butter two slices of bread - i use a brown multigrain loaf - don't think it'll be that great with sandwich slices.
3. in a little bowl, put in 1/2 teaspoon of dried chives, 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil, chop a clove of garlic and add that in too, put a bit of salt, add olive oil, and mix!
4. throw everything into a grill pan (lightly sprayed with olive oil) - and pour mixture no.3 on mushrooms.
5. in separate pan, make egg sunny side up.
6. finally, stack! i do it in this order: bread, onions, sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, sunny side up egg, good cheese - and sprinkle salt and pepper.
7. eat!

enjoy! :)

ps: you can also add in sliced pineapples/beetroot if you have any lying about in the house...
